Shopping In The Delta
Handmade quirky art and furniture, classic pieces, farm tables and more…whether you’re looking for something that came from a rustic hunt camp or a grand planter’s home, there’s furniture, art, photography and gifts for everyone at these shops and galleries located in and nearby Cleveland. This itinerary will take you through some of the area’s better known galleries, antiques dealers and retail shops, all within a short drive from Cleveland.
Moonstruck Antique Flea Market
If quirky is your thing, this is your place! An eclectic mix of antiques, kitsch, art, vinyl, and apparel, this market is just off downtown Cleveland and definitely worth a stroll through. The items change frequently and you never know what you’ll find…but you’ll find something!
Neysa’s Fireside Antiques
A classic antique and gift shop located right on the greenway in downtown Cleveland. Lots of heavier pieces, china, antique lamps and higher-end items. If you come during the holidays, be sure and check out their large selection of unique nutcrackers.
Studio 230
Just a few steps down from the historic Ellis Theater, Studio 230 is an attractive gallery that offers original artwork and delta photography from local and regional artists. Check out their website to learn about openings and events.
McCarty Pottery
Located just north of Cleveland in Merigold, McCarty Pottery has become world-famous for their delta clay pottery. Their shop, centered around an Asian-inspired garden where you can buy lunch, attracts thousands of collectors from all over the world each year.
Peter’s Pottery
A little further up the road in Mound Bayou, Peter’s Pottery is quickly gathering its own legion of collectors. This family-owned and run business is known for its unique designs incorporating the natural, earth tone colors of the Mississippi Delta.
The Antique Mall & Crown Restaurant
The Antique Mall is just down the road in the town of Indianola and offers a wide variety of antiques. This is a great stop to combine with a visit to BB King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center (also in Indianola) on any tour through the Delta.
Industrial Architecture Reclaimed Depot
If you’re looking for more than just antique furniture, but antique molding and floorboards and whatnot, check out the Industrial Architecture Reclaimed Depot in the nearby small town of Leland, Mississippi where there are a couple of other shops and the Kermit the Frog Museum!
Lina’s Interiors
Also in the small town of Leland is Lina’s Interiors where you can find cotton picking tables, lamps, old prints and custom artwork and other items full of Mississippi Delta history. They’re located right downtown.
Southern Charm Antiques and Gifts
Another antique shop near Cleveland is Southern Charm Antiques and Gifts which is also located in Leland. They offer antique and vintage items, collectables, cookware and a variety of furniture and a unique assortment of gifts.
Cleveland Collective
This is a vendor booth mall located in downtown Cleveland just off the greenway and they offer a variety of items including antique furniture, vintage items, pottery, candles and cookware. With multiple vendors, there’s plenty of variety.
The Post Gallery
In the nearby riverport town of Rosedale you’ll find The Post Gallery which features local pottery and artwork as well as vintage fishing gear, hand carved duck calls, wood carvings and more.
Tammy’s Treasures
Tammy's Treasures is a consignment /resell store located right off the Greenway in downtown Cleveland, MS. Here you’ll find everything from antiques to exercise equipment, home décor, outdoor items and jewelry at exceptional prices.
61 Trading Company
Potbelly stoves, old doors, wagon wheels, a mule cart, a whole trolley... there's all kinds of crazy stuff at 61 Trading Company, from old americana signs to old albums, old signs, diner booths, and furniture of all kinds. This place will surprise you!
Michele’s Resale
All sorts of great items can be found at this little downtown gem, including antique cookware, furniture, and more. All kinds of things move through this store, so it’s definitely worth a visit. And they'll work with you on the prices - they like to bargain!
